my comic!
What if a kingdom finds out it has been roughly ruled by a king who secretly stole his throne and powers? What if the legtimate heir of that throne doesn't want anything but to escape his destiny of taking it back, but can't hide it during his everyday life? This is a comic i'm working on since 2021 and for which i'm really really passionate about. It is my main special interest and what i've been trying to write for a while, so it's still a work in progress! This is an introduction page for anyone who might be interested in knowing more about it, the worldbuilding and its characters, and more is to be added in the future :)

Jeffrey Weber
Young and charming, Jeffrey is the protagonist of the story. He's a free spirit who interrupted studies to continue his passion for music, since he was born with the perfect pitch and an incredible talent for singing. On the other hand, he seems to be less interested in anything that involves studying or reading, and it often looks like he's somewhat afraid and tends to avoid them. Overall, he's really a nonchalant one, likes to live his life on its fullest even if that means to neglect others around him. Naturally that won't age as well as he planned.

Laurence Aubert
Never trust a book by its cover. Laurence tends to appear as a tough, severe and– surprisingly short man, but don't let his delusions deceive you: son of the king and illegitimate heir at the throne, for it should be his older sister, he has been trained for all his life to become a trustful and worthy king as his father. His training was very rough, because of his soft and polite nature, but it seems like it has completely changed him: from the shy kid to the authoritative lad, he forces roughness into his everyday life. Is it really worth it though?

Meredith Binks
Meredith is Jeffrey's cousin as well as almost-sibling, since her family "adopted" him when he was just 9 years old. They'd love eachother like sibling as well as fight like siblings, since she was the most studious and geeky kid in the household, and there would've been lots of comparisons between them, along with her being that mom friend who takes responsibility in things she should have no business about. But i mean, growing up as the "reference to look after", that would be one of the things you'd think you're only good at.

Feregus Aubert
When you're the only alter of an unaware dissociative identity disorider system, one the most challenging thing in your life would be to get away with it without anyone noticing. Bonus points if your personality is almost the opposite of your host's: chaotic and annoying as he is, Feregus also has a very altruistic and selfless nature, for he often puts his cared ones before himself even if it means going through a harmful situation, and gets in lots of troubles. "Sweet" may not be the right adjective to describe him, but he's really good at hiding his gentle side.

Diedre
Who? I don't see anyone.
